The former is used for cold water and the latter for mixed (cold & hot) water. The manual operation has priority, which means that when you use the lever, the infrared-sensor is deactivated. Touchless operation is controlled via an infrared sensor* and has 7 pre-set programs (including auto-flush and cleaning mode) – activated by covering the bottom of the sensor with a thumb, which temporarily locks the water flow. Volume and temperature control via the solid metal lever handle is smooth and precise thanks to the durable GROHE SilkMove ceramic cartridge inside. Apart from its exceptional usability, the tap boasts many other smart features. The generous high spout swivels through 150°. The pull-out dual spray delivers full flexibility, making light work of all kitchen tasks like rinsing veg, filling pots and cleaning the sink. At the touch of a button you can switch between a splash-free laminar spray and a powerful shower jet. The tap returns automatically to the laminar spray when turned off. Maintenance is also easy as the GROHE SpeedClean shower spray nozzles can be brushed free of limescale with just your finger. And the isolated inner water ways ensure that the water is lead- and nickel-free within the tap. A GROHE Remote Control (36407001) is sold separately and can be used with other GROHE products with an infrared sensor.
